Mission : To attain Gram Swaraj (Village Self-reliance) through integrated right based development by motivating, developing awareness and ensuring full participation of the target villages and also formation their organization.

About Kajla Janakalyan Samity


Kajla Janakalyan Samity has started as a club named as Milita Bandhab in 1943 by group of enthusiastic youth of Undivided Midnapore. Motive was to help the sick; physically carrying the patients to hospitals, conducting sports and cultural events for the children and youth etc. In 1945 the club got renamed as Kajla Janakalyan Samity by the same group of youths and got Govt. registration in the year 1956 under Society Registration Act. A land was donated by the local people, on which, KJKS building stands with pride today consisting of a Library, Clinic, Residential Training Centre, Public Information Centre, Non-Formal School and a Supplementary Coaching Center.

Present Activities


The Organization has running with social, cultural & financial activities for the people, by the people & of the people. The major activities are follow :-
Education, Health, Women’s empowerment & Micro Credit, Sustainable Agriculture, Income Generation Activities , Child protection, Cultural programme, Disaster Preparedness & Management, Child Resource Centre, Public Information Centre, Help to poor students, Emergency help to poor patients.

Publication


The organization has published various type of publication relate with activities as monthly & annual basis which are follows. . . . . Monthly news letter namely AMADER KATHABARTA which is managed by Children. Monthly organization news bulletin namely JANATARANGA published by the Secretary. Yearly Case story book namely JAGARAN published by Women’s development Department. Annual magazine ‘AMADER LEKHA’ which is published by children initiative.
